Do you supply the van?

No — you bring your own van, and we install the CAMPOD or complete your custom build.

How much does it cost?

Pods start at $5,950.
Custom builds typically start around $15k, depending on your setup.

How long will it take?

Timeframes depend on your setup and current bookings.
Custom builds typically take ~3 months.
Pods can be installed within 1–2 hours.

Where are you based?

We are in Ballarat Victoria. 

What’s included with the Campod?

The Campod is a fully self-contained unit featuring a double bed, pull-out kitchen, 30L fridge, water system, and solar power setup. Everything you need for an off-grid adventure is built in. Fitting is included-. Visit our CAMPOD PAGE for more info.

Can I change the layout/ design of the POD?

There are certain changes that can easily be made, please message us to explore these options. 

How long does installation of the Campod take?

The Campod is designed for efficiency. A standard installation typically takes between 1 to 2 hours, meaning you can be ready for your trip in no time. 

What vans does the Campod fit?
Our standard pod is built to suit most vans, Rob even thinks it would go in a station wagon!
Do you deliver the Pods?

Yes! We can certainly deliver pods to some areas- please message us to enquire. 

How do custom van builds work?

We work closely with you to design a layout that fits your lifestyle. From simple bed platforms to full off-grid electrical systems, we handle the craftsmanship while you provide the vision.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. All Dirty Wombat builds come with a workmanship warranty.

  • Pods: 2‑year workmanship warranty

  • Custom Builds: 1‑year workmanship warranty 

Appliances and components are covered by their manufacturer’s warranty, and we’ll help with claims where we can.

Are you insured?

Yes. Dirty Wombat Camper Company holds product and public liability insurance, which covers our workmanship and all activities carried out in our workshop. Your vehicle, however, is not covered under our insurance — customers are responsible for insurance on their vans
